Crafty Halloween Treats!

Updated: Sep 11, 2020

Halloween is almost here! This is one of my favorite holidays and I wanted to share a few quick and easy crafty treats I like to make for friends and family.

For the first craft "Mason Jar Treats". I use all sizes of Mason Jars I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I tend to always have scrapbooking paper and Ribbon around for all sorts of crafts, so for this one I found all of the Halloween themed paper and ribbon I could find. I also am a big fan of Stampin' Up stamps, punches and ink pads, so over the years I have collected a lot of cute stamps for all occasions. You can always find individual stamps, shape punches and ink pads at your local craft store as well.

For the mason jar treats I start with tracing the inner lid on a fun craft paper. I then use my adhesive and attach paper to the lid. When you tighten the lid the fun paper adds a great topper to your treat.

To make the fun tags you can get as creative as you want. I used stamps and tags I already had and then added googly eyes for an added pop! :) The Stampin' Up Glue Dots really help when adhering the googly eyes to any craft. I also use the Stampin' Up Mini Stampin Dimensionals to add a 3D effect.

I try and use all kinds of candy and fillers whit different sizes of jars.

The next craft involves a Kit Kat Bar, (King Size or Regular both work fine), some craft paper, adhesive tape, and anything you want to embellish it with.

I line up my kit kat bar in the middle of the paper and size it so that both sides of paper can cover. Cut ends if you need to, and secure paper with adhesive tape.

Simple as that! They make fun party favors or just individual treats. I like to add them to our "You Got Boo'd" Bags we give to our neighbors :)

If you have any fun Halloween crafts you like to make, I would love to hear about them!

Happy Halloween!!
